It IS our intent to make these folks accountable for their actions and to be more respectful of the other players.

Derek Walker - SUSPENDED

Suspension: Remainder of the Summer 2026 season and a minimum of the first month of the Winter 2026 season.

Reinstatement: Eligibility for reinstatement will be determined following an in-person disciplinary meeting in October 2026.

Infraction:
Unprovoked predatory attack on another player, 2 'sucker' punches thrown at a player who was defenseless and unsuspecting.

This conduct represents a serious breach of league rules and the standards of sportsmanship and player safety expected of all participants. Behaviour of this nature will not be tolerated under any circumstances. Reinstatement will be contingent upon a satisfactory review at the October meeting and a demonstrated understanding of the seriousness of the incident.
