TO SET UP YOUR ACCOUNT, PLEASE FOLLOW THE STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS BELOW (PAY ATTENTION to #4)

This message may appear harsh, it IS intended to be so.
We need everyone to understand, this MUST BE DONE IMMEDIATELY. Register AND test the bulletin board NOW, not once the season begins.

Every season we have players who ask us midseason to set up their account or unnecessarily lose game credits for missing games, claiming that they didn't realize they need to sign up for the online bulletin board. Don't be this person!

Everyone is sent this email, and we hand out a paper reminder at your first game, so there is no excuse. You must register for the board and you must do it immediately.

Please familiarize yourself with the league policies and rules, which you have already received with your initial confirmation, pay particular attention to SECTION 'B' RULES 6 & 7 + 3E.

We do not want anyone to lose their games credits, but it is up to you to read, understand and complete the steps outlined in this email.
SOME IMPORTANT INFO regarding our online The Bulletin Board:

You MUST register for the board in order to post absences. If you don't post, you will lose a game credit OR be fined OR both - because another player will have missed their opportunity to play - this is not fair to those players who are waiting to play.

If you have played previously and are registered, no need to register again, but please check to be sure your account is active.

Please register immediately for the BB
This means NOW, BEFORE THE SEASON, not when you need to make a posting.

TO SET UP YOUR ACCOUNT, PLEASE FOLLOW THE STEP-By-STEP INSTRUCTIONS BELOW (Pay particular attention to #4 & 5)

Registrations with incorrect usernames are automatically deleted.

SETUP will take less than 2 minutes:

1. Go to: JFFHL.com site and click on 'League' - there is a link there, OR you can go directly to the board, using this link <http://www.jffhl.com/phpBB2/> Please register only ONCE

2. Click on REGISTER - middle top, right side

3. Click on AGREE to terms

4. Complete the required information on the form. Be sure to use your COMPLETE AND REAL NAME EXACTLY AS YOU WOULD PRINT IT (No short forms, numbers, or nicknames) as the display screen name. Otherwise, no one will know who they are replacing, and we won't know who to change on the rosters.

NOTE: Incorrectly entered login names will automatically be deleted by the system, and you will need to re-register.

5. IMMEDIATELY send us an email at info@jffhl.com telling us your LOGIN name so that we can activate the account. NOTE: It will NOT work until you receive a reply noting 'activated'. Accounts created and not requested for activation are deleted after 48 hours)

6. Test the board to be sure it works. PLEASE NOTE: You will likely be unable to access the board right away. Your account simply needs to be activated. You must send us an email with YOUR LOGIN NAME and a quick note explaining that you can't get in, and we'll activate your account right away.


You will not be able to access your account immediately, DO NOT register again.

Simply follow the instructions above or on the board (in the 'Announcements' section) and send us an email with your LOGIN name (which should be your actual name, if you followed the instructions) and we'll activate the account. If you did not follow the instructions, your registration is automatically deleted.

We cannot help anyone activate their account without the LOGIN, so please do not ask.

HOW AND WHEN TO USE THE BULLETIN BOARD:

This is where you must post if you cannot make a scheduled game. You must post at least 24 hours in advance to avoid losing TWO game credits, but please post all absences regardless of the notification period because we have players looking for openings up until 30 minutes prior to game time.

We strongly urge you to register NOW, TODAY, do not wait until you need to use the board.

The board is 'locked' after the 1st week of the season, so if you do not register now, it may take a week or more to set up your account if you wait.

Register and test it to be sure you know it works.
